Our Staff

Elizabeth Hake

Betsy, originally from the US, has been on the mission field for over 25 years and had no previous experience in working with this particular population. She is a nurse by profession and had experience in running a rural clinic, in teaching, and in church planting before God called her to begin this ministry. Betsy’s passion is personal evangelism, a lifestyle which she strengthens through a regular discipline of prayer and fasting. She continues to learn how vital it is to do things God’s way and that she can do nothing apart from Him.

HaeYoung is originally from Korea and she has worked in Honduras for about 10 years. Maria started to work with Jericho in May of 2007 as the director of Jericho Elementary School. She and her husband are pastors of the Baptist church where some of the Jericho staff are members. Little by little as she was praying for Jericho, she felt that God gave her a burden for the ministry and especially for the children. Maria is a gifted teacher and seamstress and Jericho is blessed to have her on board.
