Calendars

It's time to put your orders in for the 2008 Jericho Calendars. This is the fifth year Jericho Ministries is putting together calendars filled with precious scenes from life at Jericho. We had a bit of trouble at the printer's this year which delayed our sales.  However, if you are interested in ordering a calendar, please contact Roger Lackore.  We suggest a donation of $10 per calendar to cover printing and mailing.  Each month is dedicated to prayer for a specific area of the ministry.  (Nov 20, 2007)

Jericho Villas Building Fund

The Jericho Villa building fund is dropping as the work is moving forward. Thanks to all of you who contributed to establish the fund that has enabled this work of God to get off the ground.  The expenses of keeping the operations going continues to increase as well, so thank you so much to all of you who give faithfully and consistently. Special giving to the building effort can be accomplished by noting such in the memo section of your check and sending it to the Jericho P.O. box address. 

We have been building the women's apartments and our target date for beginning ministry in the rehab center is Jan 2008.  We will begin with five women and their children.  (Nov 20, 2007)

Vacation Bible School

During the vacation time, Jericho school is holding a VBS(Vacation Bible School) in order to share the love of God with the children of our friends from the streets.  The teachers have come back to donate their time to help these young ones come to know Jesus and to learn who they are in Christ.  We praise God for this special outreach.

Christmas Outreach on the Streets

This year we will reach out on the streets with a special presentation by our new women.  They have decided to do a live manger scene on a local basketball court in the downtown area.  They are already inviting their friends from the streets who desperately need a Word of hope.  Sandra, one of our graduates, will do the preaching and the rest of us will help in the singing and distribution of the apples are grapes that are traditionally eaten at Christmastime.  Please pray for God's anointing upon this event and for many to come to His feet.

Moving to the Villa

We are praying now to be able to move out to the Villa with five of the rescued women and their children on Feb. 14th, 2008.  We need to finish and furnish the women's apartments as well as have the security systems in place.  There are still finishing details to be completed on the Rehab Center.  So we need a miracle!  Please pray with us!
